✅ Terms of Service

Welcome to MMA Salon. These Terms govern all services and transactions performed at our salon, through our website, Square, Acuity Scheduling, and SalonInteractive.

By booking an appointment, purchasing products, or entering the salon premises, you legally agree to:

• Our service protocols and pricing

• Hair integrity and realistic result policies

• Cancellation, rescheduling, lateness, and deposit rules

• Arbitration and chargeback waiver

You must be 18+ or accompanied by a guardian.

Results Disclaimer

Hair services involve chemicals, heat, and previous color history. Results vary depending on starting level, previous treatments, environmental exposure, and home care.

MMA Salon is not responsible for:

✅ Fading due to sulfate shampoos, chlorine, sun, minerals

✅ Damage from prior services done elsewhere

✅ Incorrect info provided during consultation

We guarantee professional technique, not a specific predefined color outcome.

Consultation Accuracy

Client must disclose all:

• Chemical treatments

• Allergies or sensitivities

• Extensions bonding or tapes

• Scalp conditions

False or incomplete disclosure voids all guarantees.

✅ Booking, Deposits & Policies

All appointments are booked through Acuity Scheduling + Square payment processing.

Deposits

Required for: Balayage, Color Transformations, Keratin, Botox, Bridal.

Deposits are non-refundable but fully transferable once with 48h notice.

Cancellation

48 hours or more → No penalty, deposit transferable

Less than 48 hours → Deposit forfeited

No-show → 100% service charge

We run an elite, time-intensive studio — respect for time is essential.

Lateness

Grace period: 10 minutes

After 10 minutes:

✅ Service may be reduced

✅ Or rescheduled with new deposit

Additional Charges

Long, thick, or corrective color may require added product or time.

Stylist will advise before proceeding.

✅ Satisfaction & Corrective Policy

If you need adjustments:

• Report within 5 days,

• Return for evaluation within 7 days

Corrections must match original plan and cannot be new work or major tonal shifts.

Refunds not offered on services.

✅ Products — Returns & Exchanges

Products purchased in-salon:

• Unopened + unused → 7 days exchange or store credit

• Used/opened → final sale

Products via SalonInteractive follow their respective shipping & return terms.

✅ Payment, Chargebacks & Arbitration

To protect our small business:

Chargebacks are not permitted for completed or delivered services

✔ Disputes are handled exclusively through private binding arbitration under Florida law

By booking, you waive the right to conduct disputes via:

✘ Credit card chargeback

✘ Court litigation

✘ Class action

Arbitrator location: Miami-Dade County, FL.

This is standard for luxury salons.

✅ Media, Photography & Model Release

You consent to:

✔ Before/after photos

✔ Video content

✔ Social media showcasing your services

Used without compensation, always with discretion.

If you wish to opt-out: tell your stylist before service begins.

✅ Health + Liability

We follow OSHA, sanitation, and chemical handling compliance.

Client assumes the normal risks associated with beauty services, including:

skin irritation, dryness, breakage, allergic reaction.

All services are performed at client’s own risk.
